The Black Sparrow

The Black Sparrow offers affordable, secluded and family-friendly accommodation in the Howqua Valley, backing onto the Great Dividing Range and next to Lake Eildon.

The property features two and three bedroom cottages, one bedroom chalets and a boutique function centre for private functions and small wedding parties. The Black Sparrow offers accommodation options for couples, families and groups.

The cottages are nestled in a bush setting of majestic gums and native trees. The cottages are in close proximity to the recreation areas allowing families and children easy access to the various activities the property has to offer.

The fully self contained one bedroom chalets, designed as romantic retreats for couples, are situated higher on the property. They are separate from the cottage accommodation to provide seclusion, but not too far from the activities available on site.

The outdoor facilities include a tennis court with basketball rings, outdoor pool, giant garden chess, campfire and a spring free trampoline. The property is pet friendly.

Each cabin is beautifully presented with a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, spacious living and private outdoor deck with barbecue. With a limited number of cabins, there is plenty of room for everyone.
