This spacious and sunny cottage is surrounded by stunning old English park- like gardens which form part of ‘Cawood’ (c.1824) -a National Trust Classified farming property (surrounded by history and a five kilometre river frontage).
Cawood Cottage is a spacious self-contained cottage, complete with excellent cooking facilities, comfortable furnishings, private barbeque area and well-equipped laundry. The cottage sleeps a maximum of four people, one queen-size bed and three single.Continental breakfast provisions can be supplied for an additional fee. Your hosts can offer information about the farm, as well as on the attractions of the surrounding areas.
Lake Meadowbank and the Ouse and Clyde Rivers provide a great place for a picnic or to try your hand at catching a trout. You can wander through the gardens, fish for trout, spot a platypus, swim in the river or swing a tennis racquet.
Cawood Estate is a 1000 acre fully operational farm incorporating cropping and livestock.
