Coolendel is an idyllic setting located on the beautiful Shoalhaven River, 30 kilometres west of Nowra. Enjoy two and a half kilometres of river frontage with fresh water swimming, fishing and canoeing. Coolendel has a bunkhouse that sleeps 20, cabins that sleep six and 250 campsites in five different areas.
Coolendel is a great place for children. Being a nature reserve there are no pets allowed, no motorbikes or generators for these will negatively effect the wildlife.

The Bunkhouse is situated on 127 acres of natural bushland and offers accommodation for up to 20 people in the heart of Shoalhaven's adventure wilderness. Nestled beside the waters of the Shoalhaven River, the Bunkhouse is an ideal base from which to fish, bushwalk, canoe or simply relax in this magnificent remote region of New South Wales. The Bunkhouse features a fully equipped kitchen and lounge/entertainment area. Barbecue and outdoor campfire area are included and are perfect for group holidays. Bring your own blankets and linen.
White Cedar and Golden Wattle Cabins offer two bedroom accommodation in the heart of Shoalhaven's adventure wilderness. Nestled beside the waters of the Shoalhaven River, the cabins are an ideal base from which to fish, bushwalk, canoe or simply relax in this magnificent remote region of New South Wales.
Coolendel covers a total of 127 acres of bush and within the park area has five separate camping areas. The Main Camp and The Burrows feature open spaces and plenty of good shady spots to set up your campsite. Canoe Flat and Willow Flat are smaller and more secluded areas, whilst Sandy Beach allows the camper to set up on the banks of the Shoalhaven River. Good amenities with hot showers are situated throughout the park for the use of all campers.
