Enjoy the Holiday Home on the south end of Curtis Island, privately owned but managed by Capricorn Lodge. Only accessible by barge from Gladstone. The Home is in what could be described as a very quiet amateur fishing village. There is local licensed shop which sells all supplies.
During non school holidays the area is almost deserted. The home is 100 metres from the beach and has uninterrupted sea views. The unit is solar powered (with batteries for night time) and rainwater tanks.
There is a five kilometre beach, turtle hatchery in season and there is also Four Wheel Drive areas accessible in the area.
