The Leichhardt Hotel is the oldest trading pub in Mount Morgan being 125 years old. If the walls could only talk! The Hotel was originally known as the Royal Hotel but had a name change three years later. With traditional Queenslander accommodation with shared renovated bathroom facilities. Great views of the town.
In the main bar you can enjoy old fashion banter. There are oil paintings on the walls painted in the 1930 by a local artist. If you are travelling through drop in and have a wander and say hello.
Their bistro provides meals seven days a week with good old fashion home cooked pub meals. With plenty of hot water and beautiful clean rooms, a well earned rest is not far away. They have six pokies which you can enjoy in air-conditioned comfort, pool room and beer garden. If you are planning a bike ride they have storage area for bikes and groups are always welcome.
They pride themselves on being a family orientated pub that provides a welcome to all locals and travellers alike. They hope to see you soon at "the place to be" from the Leichhardt Team.
