Named after the famous Yorkshire town, Sheffield is located 30 km south of Devonport and 93 km west of Launceston. It is known as the ‘Town of Murals’ due to the huge number of paintings on public buildings, which depict the early history of the area. From Sheffield, you can tour to Cradle Mountain National Park, Lake Barrington (International Rowing Course), the Mole Creek Wildlife Park, and Mole Creek Caves.

Minnow Cabins offer self-catering two bedroom cabins with a double bed and two single beds. They have a lounge area, dining area, kitchen area with full kitchen facilities, shower, toilet and laundry. Rooms have views of tall trees and birds, gardens and nearby creek, and native wildlife at night.
