Staying on Montague Island in the Light Station is an experience for those wanting to get away to this unique place, learn about its environment and its history and enjoy it all at their own leisure.

The Montague Island Lighthouse Experience offers you and your group the opportunity to book either the five bedroom Head Keeper's Quarters (maximum of 10 people) or the three bedroom Assistant Lighthouse Keepers Quarters (maximum eight people). Minimum stay is two nights; longer by arrangement.

The beautifully renovated 125 year old houses are fully self-contained. Rates include all boat transport, linen and towels, and a 2 1/2 hour tour of the island.

The beautifully renovated 125 year old house is fully self-contained and has five rooms for up to 10 people (more by arrangement). Watch the sun rise over the ocean, sitting on the deck with your morning cup of tea. Follow this with a tour of Montague Island Nature Reserve learning about the history of this beautiful place and its' connection with the mainland with one of the New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife Service Officers. Learn about about the abundant flora and fauna on the island, followed by a quiet afternoon wandering the self-guided walking paths. Finish the day with a beautiful meal made in your kitchen whilst watching the sun set over Gulaga (Mount Dromedary).
