While both the Rannoch and Kinloch cottages have an identical layout with a relaxed and comfortable ambience they differ slightly. Original features have been retained in Rannoch with its wood burning heater and timber windows that frame the outlook to an older garden. Kinloch enjoys sliding glass doors that open to a sitting area overlooking the mountains. Take your pick. Both cottages offer secluded peace and quiet perfect for a romantic getaway or time with family and friends.
Make your stay as adventurous or laid back as you wish. Hike stroll or amble, catch trout in the lake or mountain streams, barbecue by the river, or just sit and watch the light move across the mountains. Bogong Village offers easy access to the high plains and nearby Falls Creek for snow sports, mountain bike riding and bushwalking.
The Kiewa Valley with it's growing reputation for food and wine is only 20 minutes down the hill. Bogong Jacks restaurant and bar at the base of the village offers local wines and meals served on the balcony overlooking the gardens and lake or inside by the fire.
