Sails on Port Sorell Boutique Apartments are located at Port Sorell, the Port of Golden Beaches, 20 kilometres east of Devonport on Tasmania’s north-west coast. Only approx 150 metres from pristine beaches, “Sails” provides a home away from home in well equipped self-contained accommodation combining style and comfort. Choose from the Lighthouse Family Villa – a comfortable two bedroom villa that can sleep up to six guests – or the Pier Apartment, the Dolphin and Oyster Studios.
Sails on Port Sorell is the perfect place to base yourself and discover what the Northern Beaches, Devonport and Cradle Country regions have to offer. Take day trips to Leven Canyon, Gunns Plains, Penguin, Burnie, Boat Harbour, the Tarkine or the “Nut” at Stanley. Day trip to Cradle Mountain, the Tamar Valley and Cataract Gorge in Launceston or head off to Deloraine, Mole Creek, Liffey Falls, Longford, Sheffield and Latrobe. Take a day to visit the mine and museum in Beaconsfield and visit Seahorse World and the Platypus and Echidna Experience at Beauty Point.
Walk the beaches at Port Sorell, fish from the jetty or visit the adjacent Narawtapu National Park, walk with the wombats and see a variety of native wildlife.
