Shell Cottage provides traditional seaside self-contained accommodation overlooking Binalong Bay on Tasmania’s east coast. The prime location offers stunning views over Binalong Bay and Skeleton Bay.
Shell Cottage has two bedrooms and can accommodate up to four guests with a queen-size bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the second room. There is a warm and cosy living area that soaks up the sun, opening directly onto the north facing deck. The open plan dining and lounge area offer a spacious feel. There is a neat fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities available.
You are just across the road from safe swimming gulches, and a small park and boat ramp. Enjoy the sandy white beaches and the natural bushland around you. Hire a bicycle and ride along the coastal paths or drive to nearby Douglas Aplsey National Park where you will find excellent bushwalks through Tasmania’s wilderness. Further down the coast, visit Freycinet National Park where you can see magnificent Wineglass Bay and even take a guided sea-kayaking tour.
From Launceston, Binalong Bay is approximately two and a half hours drive (177 kilometres/110 miles) and a short 10-minute drive from St Helens.Visit Website
