The Shelly Beach Motel has 13 individually decorated rooms to suit singles through to families. The best beach in Hervey Bay is directly across the road. Lie in bed at night and listen to the gentle roll of the waves.
All rooms are semi self contained with new curtains, carpets,comfortable lounge chairs, reverse cycle air conditioning, flat screen televisions, fans, tea and coffee making,large fridge,microwave and free wireless internet access. Upstairs rooms have private balconies and the downstairs rooms have a large courtyard. All have patio settings. Undercover parking is available and also a guest laundry. The grounds are pleasantly landscaped with a gazebo and barbecue outdoor area, complete with camp kitchen. It's a pleasant walk along the Esplanade to restaurants and shops. The mighty humpback whales visit the region from July to November. These amazing creatures have to be seen to be believed. Also Fraser Island is on the doorstep and all the local tour operators will pick you up outside the Motel for a trip to the this wonderful island.
