Stirling Range Retreat is situated at the foot of Bluff Knoll, opposite Bluff Knoll Road, 90 kilometres North of Albany. It is an easy drive along Chester Pass Road which follows an ancient river bed through the mountain ranges.
They offer accommodation choices to cater for all budgets ranging from onsite caravans to fully self-contained two-bedroom chalets plus caravan and camping sites, some with sunset and mountain views. Offering a seasonal swimming pool in the summer months (November to April) and a seasonal communal campfire pit in the cooler months, is a great way to relax after exploring the local mountains. Facilities also include a large camp kitchen, playground, guest laundry, small shop, dump point and nature trails.
This destination is an ideal base to discover some of the 1,500 wildflowers and 123 orchid species at Stirling Range National Park, particularly abundant in Spring.
More than 90 bird species have been observed in the area including the Owlet-nightjar and rare birds like the Crested Shrike-tit. Discover birds in stunning breeding plumage during nesting season in spring.
Opportunistic sightings of native mammals and monitor lizards also occur.
Feel exhilarated while hiking in this amazing mountain range – Bluff Knoll, Mt Trio, Toolbrunup, Mt Hassell, Talyuberlup or Mt Magog or just enjoy the views along the scenic drive and lookouts.

The Two-bedroom chalets have either one queen bed, one double and set of single bunk beds or one queen and two sets of single bunk beds.
Full linen is provided and the chalet has cooking facilities and a private bathroom. The kitchens are fully equipped with four electric hot plates, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, a refrigerator, plates and cutlery, making self-catering easy.

Room 31 has one queen bed in the bedroom, one set of single bunk beds, and dining and kitchen facilities in the second room.
Room 31 also has wheelchair access and a modified shower and toilet for additional support requirements. Please ask for a shower chair and hand-held shower extension if required.
Both have private showers and toilets, and reverse-cycle air-conditioning. Tea and coffee-making facilities are also provided. Both are equipped to self-cater with a single electric plug-in hotplate, microwave, toaster, kettle, bar-size refrigerator, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. Electric blankets on double and queen beds and full linen are provided.

Ablution facilities are shared and each cabin has its own food preparation area with two electric hot plates, a small grill/ oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and bar-size refrigerator.
All cabins are equipped with one double bed (linen provided) and either three or four single beds. Pillows and pillowcases are provided for all beds. Please bring sleeping bags, single bed bottom sheets and all towels or single linen and towels are available for hire.

All cabins have a food preparation bench with two gas burners, microwave, toaster, kettle, refrigerator, plates and cutlery supplied. The cabins have one double bed and one set of single bunk beds with full linen provided. A private shower and toilet is located in each cabin.

One of the vans has a double bed and one single bed while the other two vans have one double bed and two sets of smaller single bunk beds.
They are equipped with their own food preparation areas, bar-size refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, kettles and column heaters. Pillows and pillow slips are provided on all beds and the double bed has a fitted bottom sheet but this is the only linen provided, linen is available for hire. The Onsite Caravans do not have bathrooms, guests use the shared ablution facilities close by.

Powered SiteMost year-round guests can choose their own non-powered campsites with the exception of peak times – check when booking.
Access to sites with mountain and sunset views or in the secluded bush is available on a first-in basis. Bring your own caravan, tent, or camper trailer and enjoy the great outdoors.
