This is quite simply a glorious place to stay - quiet and content, sustainable right down to the last morsel of compost, drop of tank water and glimmer of solar power, and all nestled within an established woodland garden. The garden is part of the Australia's Open Garden Scheme in 2012 which complements the commercial, organically certified chestnut orchard on the property.
Writers, readers, birders, skiers (Hotham and Falls similar distances) and adventurous holiday makers all enjoy the comfort and pace of Garden Cottage and make the most of exploring marvellous north east Victoria. Garden Cottage is suited to all types and is often used as a base for folk wishing to explore the region.
