The Lodge is a motel restaurant complex with a Scottish hunting lodge theme (a tourist attraction in itself). Located in the centre of historic Glen Innes, it's just seven hours from Sydney, and is renowned for its pioneering history and rich rural background.
This single storey motel has ample parking, a candlelit restaurant serving delicious local fare and a charming bar. While it is conveniently located on the New England Highway (at the lights opposite the Convent), it is extremely quiet.
Tours can be arranged to include diverse activities and places, such as fossicking, national parks, sheep and wool production, or a pioneer village.
