    The campground is the river flat before you come to the Newnes Hotel. The campsites have access to the river and there is plenty of space for the kids to run around and kick a ball. There are fire places and fire wood is sold at the Hotel Kiosk. Camping guests use the shower and toilet block and are welcome to use the covered barbecue and pizza oven area. The pizza oven needs to be booked in advance as it takes five hours to heat it up.

  • The Caravan

    The cosy caravan is a popular alternative to camping at Newnes. It is self-contained, with a kitchenette and refrigerator. There is a double bed and one bunk bed. It sleeps three however, the small space gets a bit crowded. It is ideal for two persons. In winter it gets cold in the caravan. So bring a warm sleeping bag and your own sheets. There is no bathroom in the caravan. Caravan guests use the shower and toilet block at the hotel. You are also welcome to use the barbecue under the big gum tree or the fire next to the caravan.

  • The Wolgan Cabin

    The Wolgan Cabin can accommodate six people in all the comforts of home. It has a queen sized bed in the separate bedroom and four single beds/sofas in the living area. This spacious living area also includes a modern kitchen with all amenities; refrigerator, gas stove with oven, microwave oven and all the cutlery,crockery and pots and pans you will need. The bathroom, designed for wheelchair access, is a comfortable size. A cosy gas room heater will keep you warm in winter. Doonas, pillows and blankets are provided, but you will need to bring your own linen and towels.

  • The Colo Cabin

    The Colo Cabin is the focal point of the "town square". It has a tower and has been designed to accommodate four people. This cabin includes a small study and a spectacular observatory bunk bed. On one side of the cabin, under the timber lined, gable roof, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area with a sofa/single bed. There's also a gas heater to keep you warm in winter. On the front veranda, you can relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Whether you're a couple, a small family or a group of friends, this cabin may be just the escape you're looking for.
