Thorn Park on the island is located at Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island: one of the state’s most popular and spectacular tourist destinations. Thirty minutes by plane or a forty-five-minute ferry trip from the mainland of South Australia.

The property is located on three acres on the hill looking down over the town and harbour of Penneshaw. The house has recently undergone extensive enlargement and renovations. It is light and bright with large north facing windows that provide an expansive view of the ocean, township and countryside. The property is furnished with high quality furniture and artworks but maintains a relaxed and comfortable seaside ambience.

The home is surrounded by native bushland that is home to abundant birdlife, numerous wallabies, kangaroos and is the feeding ground for the endangered glossy black cockatoo. Rosenburg Goannas, Echidnas also like to pay a visit.
