Derwent Hideaway is a self-contained waterfront holiday house at Austins Ferry, in Tasmania’s south.
Set on the banks of the Derwent River, it is ideal for business or pleasure visits. All main rooms have view of the river and Mt Direction. The house has a large riverside garden dominated by two ancient oaks.
Derwent Hideaway is fully furnished and accommodates up to nine guests. The house features three bedrooms, a bathroom with separate toilet and wash basin, a fully-equipped kitchen and laundry, barbecue, towels, linen, TV, stereo and free wireless internet.
Fishing gear is provided, while bicycles, canoes and sail boards are available on request.
Austins Ferry is close to a number of attractions including Cadburys, Alpenrail, Bonorong Wildlife Park and a number of golf or bowls clubs.
