The Albert River circuit within Lamington National Park, leads off the Border Track five kilometres from the trail head. The track winds down to Lightning Falls and follows the left branch of the Albert River upstream to Echo Falls and Echo Point. Between the falls and Echo Point, you walk through warm temperate rainforest dominated by coachwood trees. This is one of the few places in the park where you can see this type of rainforest.
Along this walk, you will also see spectacular creek scenery with mossy rocks and ancient Antarctic beech trees. Echo Point, overlooking the Tweed Range and Lamington wilderness area lives up to its name, if you try calling. Return to Green Mountains section (O'Reilly) back along the Border Track.Visit Website
