Arthurs Seat State Park

National Parks and Reserves

Rising above the Mornington Peninsula, Arthurs Seat is the most familiar of all Port Phillip Bay landscape features. Its 314-metre summit, reached by road or on foot, gives spectacular views of the bay and Port Phillip Heads. On a clear day the view extends as far as the city skyline, the You Yangs and Mount Macedon.

Take the pleasant one hour circuit walk to Kings Falls or visit the delightful Seawinds Garden featuring indigenous and exotic formal gardens, along with sculptures by William Ricketts.

There is 24 hour access to the park.

How to get there:
Arthurs Seat State Park is located 60km south of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula (Melway 159 D12). Access to the park from Melbourne is via the Mornington Peninsula Freeway and the Arthurs Seat Scenic Road.
