Deviation Road cellar door is the crowning glory of a smart boutique wine brand established by Kate and Hamish Laurie 10 years ago. It is located at the gateway of their gorgeous 50 hectare property on Scott Creek Road, Longwood – a five minute drive south-west of Stirling in the heart of the Adelaide Hills. It is set amongst native Australian beauty, opposite Sir Mark Oliphant Conservation Park, and surrounded by the Laurie’s own 35 hectare virgin scrubland.
Three acres of vines and a trufferie have been planted on the hill running above the cellar door towards the winery. Take in the beauty and enjoy the serenity from the deck with a glass of hand-crafted wine. The range includes méthode champenoise, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, pinot gris, pinot noir and shiraz.
Tastings, platters and sales are available seven days a week, 10am to 5pm.
