Located near the historic town of Greenough, it is surrounded by magnificent Gum trees and a rocky gorge. If you are feeling energetic climb the rocky peak from the creek that flows from Ellendale Pool. Stop for a picnic lunch or stay the night at the camp site.
A visit to nearby Greenough is also worthwhile to see numerous well preserved historic buildings within the town. Ellendale and Greenough are a perfect stopover on your way to the state’s north.
