The Huon Valley Apple Museum is located at Grove, southern Tasmania.
This diverse exhibit contains not only an extensive amount of history involving the Huon Valley’s apple industry but also many displays depicting the domestic lives of the early settlers. Enjoy live demonstrations on the circa 1909 commercial apple peeling and coring machine, and a display of 386 varieties of heritage apples - many of which you’ll find in the orchard on site.
The Starving Artist Art Gallery is an onsite gallery showcasing some of Tasmania’s highly talented artists. Along with an ever-changing exhibit of paintings you will enjoy a variety of handcrafted articles, and many items made from Huon Pine.
