Munmorah has a rugged coastline with sandy beaches and coastal heath. Offering opportunities for surfing, fishing, bushwalking and camping, the park is also home to a variety of wildlife. This is a perfect place to view magnificent display of wildflowers from late to early spring, particularly in the heath.
There are two camping areas in the reserve. Freemans Camping Area has 28 tent sites and eight caravan or van sites in a landscaped area a short walk from beautiful Birdie Beach. This is a popular camping area especially in summer, providing toilets, free gas barbecues and picnic tables. Frazer Beach is famous for its surf. The camping area is a small site which overlooks the beach an toilets, picnic tables and free gas barbecues are provided.
Bookings are essential for both camping areas.
