Nickelby at Darnum is the home of Nickelby Alpacas, Nickelby Designs and Nickelby Olives; where you can take the opportunity to come and see this working alpaca stud.
Owned by Angela Betheras who is also the RIRDC 2011 Victorian Rural Woman of the Year, Nickelby at Darnum operates a farm gate selling beautiful alpaca garments made from fine Australian fleece as well as stylish garments from Peru. Nickelby at Darnum have throw rugs, jumpers, coats, scarves, hats and doonas, to name a few, all made from this beautiful fibre.
Whilst stocking an extensive range of commercial garments, Nickelby Designs is Angela's own range and this is all made from Australian Alpaca, mostly from her own animals. They also stock alpaca yarn including hand dyed Australian alpaca yarn.
Nickelby At Darnum is also a licenced venue so you can book in for a ploughman's lunch with a glass of wine and sit back and enjoy the views and the lovely alpacas or enjoy coffee and cake with our own unique secret blended coffee that you can't find anywhere else.
As one of the largest alpaca on farm shops in Australia, you are certain to find exactly what you are looking for.
