The John Oxley Museum is a collection of historic artefacts tracing Wellington history from 1830 to present time, containing many photographs and specialty displays.
The museum is housed in the former Bank of NSW building constructed in 1883.
The museum is staffed voluntarily by members of the Wellington Historical Society Incorporated.
