Tabletop Mountain Experience involves a two hour guided walk to the summit of Tabletop Mountain.
Guide, Phil Rouvray, will provide a brief interpretation of the history, geology, flora and fauna of the area. The summit (630 metres) provides panoramic views of Lake Hume, The Snowy Mountains, rock formation and the surrounding countryside. At the conclusion of the walk, refreshments will be provided in the Tabletop Mountain Function Centre.
The walk is suitable for school aged children and above. Moderate fitness and mobility are required. The walk is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems, heart trouble or respiratory problems.
Walkers need to take the following things with them: enclosed footwear with a good grip (most runners would be adequate), hat and sunscreen, water bottle and a snack to nibble on during the walk.
