The Old Mill in the centre of Katanning is an impressive turn of the century building standing four stories tall. Stroll around the building which used to house the town’s old flour mill. See the machinery that was used to mill the flour which is still in its original state.
Built in 1889, the mill is a heritage listed building and restoration work is scheduled to take place in the near future. Prior to arriving in Katanning, book your tour of the mill to learn more about its fascinating past.
The Katanning Visitor Centre is located on the ground floor of the Old Mill and provides information about an array of attractions and things to do in the town. To learn more about Katanning’s past, enjoy a visit to the Historical Museum in the town’s original school building. Katanning is a three and a half hour drive south of Perth.
