Explore the oldest roundhouse in NSW and witness restoration works being carried out on tramway and railway exhibits.
Enjoy unlimited 15 minute rides on an 1890s Sydney Steam Tramcar and view model railway layouts including a five metre long HO scale model of the Depot as it was in the 1950s.
See locomotives including express passenger engine 3214 from the 1890s, Standard Goods Steam Engine 5461 and 46 Class Electric Locomotive 4601. Loco 5711, the only survivor of the heaviest steam locomotive class in NSW, is under long term restoration at the museum.
View exhibits of rail artefacts and paintings, local history and photographic display plus a large collection of books, videos and souvenir items.
