Warrumbungle National Park is situated 36 kilometres west of Coonabarabran with bitumen road all the way to the park.
The bushfires of January 2013 in The Warrumbungle National Park have changed the park's landscape but now gives you more opportunity to see the rock formation in more detail than before. The wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, emus and many other native fauna and flora are slowly coming back and will do more so as time goes. Opportunity for bushwalking is available but with limited tracks.Visit Website
