Yarramalong Nut Farm and Firefly Bistro is a serene place for coffee lovers and nature enthusiasts to enjoy a break whilst exploring the many attractions in the Yarramalong Valley.
The Firefly Bistro is nestled at the top of the macadamia orchards in its own rainforest environment. It was named in recognition of the fireflies, filling the rainforest on hot humid evenings in November and December. The Bistro was the original farm house for the macadamia plantation. The Bistro also sells macadamia products including beauty creams, soaps, muesli, dukka, honey and macadamia nuts.
The orchard contains 500 mature trees that were originally planted 40 years ago when the farm was known as "Barkala Plantation". The owners are happy to give a talk about the production of the macadamias and you are free to wander among the orchards. Please note: the nuts cannot be picked from the trees or the ground.Visit Website
