Baan Baa

Baan Baa sits 40 kilometres south east of Narrabri on the Kamilaroi Highway. Once a bustling railway village it is now primarily a grain terminal servicing the region’s cotton and grain industries. It is also rich in coal deposits.

The small town has a church, community hall, tennis courts and cricket ground. Visit the historical pub for refreshing drinks and country meals. Baan Baa comes alive during grain harvest season.

Local markets are held in Baan Baa on the second Sunday of the month.
