Singleton is situated approximately 200km north west of Sydney on the New England Highway and is nestled in the centre of the magnificent Hunter Valley. The area is rich in heritage and natural beauty and is well know for the quality wines produced. The wine industry is a major attraction for the area with many cellar doors on Hermitage Road and the boutique wineries in the Broke-Fordwich region. <br>
The spectacular country side that surrounds Singleton must be seen to be believed! The Wollemi and Yengo National Parks have recently been incorporated into the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area and presents Singleton Council with great opportunities to explore the eco-tourism product.
