Amy's Ride SA is a recreational mass participation road ride from Bedford Park, Adelaide to McLaren Vale. The event raises much needed funds for road safety in South Australia.
Amy's Ride SA supports the Amy Gillett Foundation and aims to help promote key messages of safe and responsible road use, increase awareness of the need for more respect amongst road users, and honour the memory of Amy Gillett who was killed by a motorist while riding in Germany.
Riders can choose to ride 30, 65, 100 or 120 kilometres, starting from Flinders University or O'Halloran Hill (25 kilometres only). They ride the Southern Expressway (closed for the event). At the McLaren Vale Visitor Centre finish line you can enjoy lunch, entertainment and a glass of vino.
Pre-registration is required and cost depends on distance selected. Refer to website for full details including registration. Coach transfers are also available.Visit Website
