The Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club in conjunction with the Victorian Surf Rowers league is hosting a surfboat carnival at Main Beach, Anglesea.
Surfboats provide, depending on the beach conditions some of the most spectacular sites seen in surf lifesaving as the craft pound through and over waves.
This carnival is part of the VSRL Series and is the first real hitout of the 2011 summer season and will provide spectators great viewing.
For competitors, Boat Access is via River Mouth from 9-9.30am and 1.30-2.00pm.
