The Australian Anglers Association's National Angling Championships and Convention will be hosted by the Queensland Amateur Fishing Clubs Association on the Sunshine Coast in 2013.
These Championships are open to all affiliated, insured members of State Bodies affiliated with the A.A.A. There are three rounds of each of the fishing disciplines - estuary, rock and beach, and offshore, and two days of dry land casting.
There are individual and team championships awarded as well as overall Champions, in five different categories - Male, Female, Veteran Male and Veteran Female (over 60 years of age) and Junior (under 17 years). The carnival also has an extensive social program to cater for the non-fisher folk accompanying the anglers to these National Titles. Participants are assured of a wow of a time!Visit Website
