The Australian Celtic Festival has become a hallmark event of Celtic celebration on the nation's entertainment calendar. The festival attracts clans, national groups, pipe bands, dancers, artists and spectators from across Australia and abroad.
Highlights include a lone piper in the dawn autumn mists signalling non-stop entertainment at The Australian Standing Stones. There is a spectacular street parade, massed pipe bands, Celtic Dog Championships, Kirking of the Tartan and clan gatherings, workshops and the ever popular poets breakfast. Amazing live music includes internationally renowned vocalists and a spectacular array of bands including Murphys Pigs and Pumpkin Juice. Legendary dancers to entertain and delight include The Glenmore Dancers and Cape Byron Dancers.
