See the burlesque stars of tomorrow in the official opening of the Australian Burlesque Festival 2012! A showcase of the best emerging burlesque talent in Australia, the contest will feature burlesque artists with less than two years burlesque experience and will be judged by a panel of industry professionals. The winner will be invited to perform at the festival's gala event, 'The Big Tease' among other fabulous prizes for them and the runners up. The previous year's Baby Bombshells have gone on to become stars in their own right and they are thrilled to show you the next generation of tease! This event is designed to encourage and promote the emerging artists with audiences able to lend a hand in choosing the overall winner and crowd favourites. Tassels will twirl and feathers will fly! But who will shine the brightest?

After two legendary sold-out tours in 2010 and 2011, Australian burlesque stars and producers Dolores Daiquiri and Rosy Rabbit, proudly announce the national tour line up for The Australian Burlesque Festival 2012 held from June 7 to 24.

Touted as the biggest celebration of tease in the Southern Hemisphere, The Australian Burlesque Festival 2012 boasts 10 spectacular events in 6 cities across Australia.

The past two years have seen burlesque aficionados and first timers alike delighting in the stunning array of sensational tease. In 2012 audiences across the nation will experience more glamorous striptease, exciting neo-burlesque and exotic seduction than they can handle!
