Get into the festival spirit with a visit to Tennant Creek to enjoy the 23rd Desert Harmony Festival.
Proudly presented by Barkly Regional Arts, the festival celebrates the region's thriving and vibrant cultural mix of Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists, musicians, dancers and storytellers.
This year songwriter and guitarist Frank Yamma is the headline act for a day of music that promises to be a real crowd pleaser, as does Bindjareb Pinjarra, an iconic comedy about a massacre in WA (presented by Artback NT). Other highlights include the raunchy and fun Caravan Burlesque, film screenings of community digital stories, culture carnival, a multi-cultural night and regular favourites like the annual street parade, youth performance and Artists of the Barkly marketplace.
