Injune Where Country is Festival is a country fans dream. The highlight of the festival is 'Music in the Amphitheatre' a country music camp out concert held in the amphitheatre at Wallaroo in the foothills of the majestic Carnarvon Ranges.
Australian Bush Balladeer artists Ged and Trudy Hintz and Chris Pritchard along with the traditional country style of Chester Wilson from Ned and The Kellys will have the vibes ringing round the ranges on Saturday night. Music from 2pm till late.
Free camping however you must be self-sufficient. Tickets must be prepaid and booked through the Injune Information Centre.
Sunday, Gary Fogarty will have you in stitches as he hosts a traditional bush poets breakfast.
Festival week also includes dedication to unmarked graves, signage unveiling at the old Injune Coal Mine, historical trip to Lonesome placing a plaque where a plane crashed and Gaine Carrington was buried and much more!
