The La Fiera festival returns to Myrtleford bigger and better than ever in 2015.
Come and see cooking demonstrations by noted chefs Patrizia Simone, Vittorio Piccolotto and Stefano Manfredi as well as Nonni in Cucina cooking demonstrations. There will be Wild mushroom forages to keep you busy and a re-enactment of the Living Chess Match first performed in Marostica, Italy in 1454.
Enjoy The Food and Wine Festa where you can try local wines and traditional dishes or jump on a coach and tour the local boutique wineries not normally open to the public.
There will be a fabulous feast of food and wine from the Trentino region of northern Italy, an Art exhibition, heritage displays, including a new museum about the local tobacco industry and a special Mass to celebrate St. Anthony of Padua.
Watch full day of soccer matches and a Bocce competition, pizza dough throwing demonstrations and indulge in Italian-style meals at local wineries and restaurants. Don't forget to see the display of veteran Italian cars.
