Children's entertainment includes Indigenous hands on activities, cultural dancing, food stalls, craft stalls, camel rides, sand sculpting and giant kites. Beach activities include miniature horses, drum making and much more.
The festival commences on Friday with school bands playing, and the official opening ceremony is held at a later time. The Arts judging will commence on Friday after midday. There will be a free raffle with visitors providing their name and address; this is beside a Festival raffle. The Festival is held over four separate interconnecting areas, Community Hall, Bi-Centennial oval, Bob Nielsen Park and the beach.
