Blackheath Rhododendron Festival

During the 2008 Annual Rhododendron Festival the village comes alive with floral displays, annual art show, roof bolting, coal shovelling, and outdoor entertainment including Neville Burn the Mountain Snake Man and the famous Street Parade on Saturday 1st November at 12.30pm

Program:
Saturday 24 October to Sunday 2 November is the Official opening and Art Show at Blackheath Community Centre. All items for sale, with over 300 exhibits including traditional and contemporary works.

Saturday 1 & Sunday 2 November is the festival weekend with over 100 varied stalls, activities and music. From 9.00am to 4.00pm.
Saturday 15 November is the Rhodo Ball.
Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 November is the Jazz Festival in the grounds of the Ivanhoe Hotel.
