Convoy for Kids with Cancer
The Convoy for Cancer Families is always a great day out with residents of Canberra and Queanbeyan lining the streets to give the convoy a wave as it passes by.
A convoy of motorbikes, trucks, buses, fire engines and utes heads off down Northbourne Avenue, through Canberra towards the New South Wales border where the convoy enters Queanbeyan and into the Queanbeyan Showground.
A carnival will be in full swing when the convoy reaches the showground with activities for all members of the family. Features include: farm animals, tug of war competition, Milo the clown, Durkins amusements, bands, best show n shine truck, an auction, bar and barbecue.
