Tallong Apple Day - A Family and Friends Fun Day
The Tallong Community Focus Group, sponsored by the Marulan and District Lions Club Inc., is organising a day of fun and celebrations to recognise the heritage of Tallong. The activities will be centred in the Tallong Memorial Hall and surrounding areas
There will be street market stalls, including local produce stalls with apples and a variety of products for sale including food and refreshments
You can view displays of various classic cars, motorcycles and armoured vehicles, arts, crafts and quilts, Goulburn Bowmen Classic Steam Engines and displays by police, ambulance and the rural fire brigade.
Entertainment will include raffles and competitions, live music an 'APPLE' bake-off competition (pies, cakes, tarts, etc.) and of course there will be novelty games, rides and a jumping castle for the kids to enjoy
Apples will be the theme of the day and any profits will be distributed to the local community.
