Bundanoon Highland Gathering

After the mists have risen at dawn, the town of Bundanoon becomes Brigadoon for a day. If you're looking for the perfect family fun day out then head to Australia's premier Scottish Highland Gathering, Bundanoon is Brigadoon and Scotland with a 'wee' bit of Aussie flavour.

The gathering is a non-profit, registered charity event that readily distributes the funds from the day to local charities and volunteer groups that assist the organisers in the administration of the gathering.

There’s a street parade with marching pipe bands, Clan Societies and children's decorated floats. At the oval, massed pipes and drums, highland dancing and Scottish country dancing. The Tartan Warriors, lifting the Bundanoon Stones of Manhood. Lots of traditional games and not so traditional highland games, highland cavaliers, solo fiddler, Southern Highlands Kennel and Obedience Club, Over 150 speciality crafts, souvenirs and food stalls.
