Capital Petanque
During September, Lerida Estate Winery will again host a two day Petanque tournament for players across Australia.
Bring some friends, family members or work colleagues and made a day of it. The Lerida Estate Winery is a superb venue not only to enjoy some Petanque, but to also sample some beautiful local wines, have a bite to eat in the Cafe and soak up the beautiful setting and atmosphere of the winery and it's surrounds, on the 'shore' of Lake George.
Petanque is about the easiest game to play and with about five minutes of instructions and with a little practice you will be an expert in no time. Petanque is the only game where a glass of wine can be held in one hand while you throw the boule with the other.
As well as the social element, a serious tournament will also take place.
