Whale Watching on the Central Coast
National Parks and Wildlife Service Free Whale Watching programme will begin on Sunday 22nd June 20078 at Crackneck Lookout, on Hilltop Street, Bateau Bay. Each day the program will open up around 9.00am and close down by 3.00pm. A display trailer will be on view with interesting information about whales and many other marine mammals; Whale information presentations will be held at 10.00am, 11.30am, 1.00pm and 2.30pm each lasting about 20 minutes.
Everyone is welcome to come along and view the whales see the display and listen to the presentation. There will be opportunities for children’s art and craft from 10.30am to 12noon each day. It is recommended that those wishing to attend bring suitable sun/weather protection and binoculars.
Crackneck Point is the perfect place for a picnic whilst looking for the whales. Bookings are not required and this event is completely FREE.
