Peats Ridge Sustainable Arts and Music Festival
Peats Ridge 2009 is three full days of festival fun. Over New Year the valley becomes a feast for the senses filled with music, arts and culture. Two hundred artists perform across ten stages, there’s a theatre, cabaret and comedy program, a children's festival and dozens of free workshops.
This year's line-up includes Lamb (UK), Sarah Blasko, The Panics, Blue King Brown, Liam Finn, Dappled Cities, Whitely, Ash Grunwald, Jeff Martin (Canada), Berite Blackman, Jeff Lang, Lost Valentinos, Telepathe (US), Mountain Mocha Killamanjaro (Japan), Astronomy Class, Leader Cheetah, Ripperton (Switzerland), Jack Ladder and many more.
Peats Ridge is also one of the most sustainable festivals on the planet and has won numerous national and international awards. The whole event runs entirely on renewable energy and there is an area devoted to eco-living education and extensive environmental initiatives, so you can party completely guilt free.
