Christine Lanham Exhibition
Talented local artist Christine Lanham returns to the Japanese Garden during October by popular demand. “Offerings” is a solo exhibition of recent and retrospective work in painting, collage and sculpture.
Having exhibited widely throughout the Central West in the last 10 years, Christine’s growing experience with subject matter, technique and media can be seen in this diverse collection. Work includes oil paint, metal, plaster and paper sculpture.
Christine has been inspired by the land, people and fauna of the local area. Recycled materials feature in many of her works, such as “Little Bird”, made from salvaged relic blacksmith metal, which won a Highly Commended award in the 2007 Waterhouse Prize, Adelaide.
Entry to Christine’s exhibition is by gold coin while normal admission charges apply to the rest of the Japanese Garden.
