Cowra Horse Expo
The Cowra Horse Expo is open to the public with catering all weekend plus meals on Saturday night.
There are Exhibitors and Trade Stalls all weekend in the pavilion including Saddlers, Artists. Farriers, Feed Supplements, rug supplies, chiropractic and feed merchants, saddlery supplies, massage therapists, veterinary products, equine dentists and much more.
Seminars during the weekend with topics including equine dentistry, hoof care, parastic controls, feeding, chiropratic and horse massage, featuring guest speaker Dr. John Kohnke, Wilbur Thornbury, Gary Christoe and Michael Fruin.
Demonstrations showcasing horse activities of the Cowra district for the Cowra Horse Expo include natural horsemanship, reining, dressage, riding for the disable, pony club drills, stallion parades, andalusions, polocross, camp drafting, endurance training and social rides on Sunday (contact Annette Bailey).
The Cowra Horse Expo will also include the Inaugural Stallion Service Fee Sale. This is auction by mail and there will be many breeds represented including Paint, Appaloosa and Thoroughbred. Please contact Gail Shaw for conditions and Auction forms.
